Job Role

The role of ICT Analyst is to provide a broad range of administrative support activities, primarily for project and service management functions that encompass the entire ICT department.

These include, but are not limited to general administration, reporting, financial management, vendor management, change management, project management, procurement and IT service management.

Duties and Responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities of the ICT analyst, which may be adjusted due to the changing nature of the ICT function, includes the following.

Administrative functions:

  • General communication across ICT and the wider business
  • Publication of timely Intranet News Feed articles
  • Support to financial management function
  • Support on asset tracking, contract, and software license management
  • Support on maintaining the Service Catalogue & Reference Architecture documentation

Reporting across Shared Services requirements:

  • Support on ITSM & Projects monthly reports
  • Ad-hoc report in support of functions

Relationship management e.g. liaising with external providers & stakeholders

Support to project management function specifically:

  • Creation of project charters, involving all relevant stakeholders, to create and agree scope and objectives
  • Managing project documentation, including RACI’s, generating project Checkpoint reports & programme dashboard, RAID logs

Essential Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role(s)
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Experience in managing and maintaining internal relationships
  • Good understanding of requirement concepts, processes, and standards
  • Advanced knowledge of English language – written & verbal
  • Practical experience of working within a recognised Project management environment e.g., prince2
  • Practical experience of working within an ITIL framework environment

Desirable Experience

  • ITIL qualification
  • Project Management qualification
  • Multi-lingual
  • Practical experience working in a pan-European organisation
  • Experience of using & configuring ITSM tooling
  • Educated to degree or equivalent level
  • Understanding of Financial Services Regulations
  • Understanding of Supplier Management
  • Understanding of Financial management & terminology
  • Experience using Manage Engine SD+

We would be looking for the following skills/qualifications: 

  • High level of customer service and support is provided
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills including Pivot Charts, Data Sources & Functions
  • Contribute to Continuous Service Improvement process by identifying gaps and opportunities to improve ICT process, procedure & business service provision.

Role Package

Hours of Work:  Full time permanent, 37.5 hours per week.
