The Link Financial Group was founded in London in 1998 where its UK headquarters are located on the River Thames at Vauxhall Cross. Subsequently the business acquired a second UK site in Caerphilly, South Wales, which has now grown to become our largest office. Caerphilly has a 30 history as a debt recovery platform for a number of banking organisations including GE Capital and RBS.
Link expanded into other European markets as we recognised the benefit of serving international banking clients across the continent. Link remains the only major UK player in the sector to have expanded into Europe. We consider that this gives us a competitive advantage as investors look to build a geographically diverse portfolio.
2004: Link Finanzas SL was established in Madrid, Spain
2006: Link Finanziaria SpA opened doors in Rome, Italy
2007: Link Financial GmbH launched in Cologne, Germany
2008: Link Receivables Management established in Dublin, Ireland
Since 2007, Link has also been servicer of a UK student loans through its Thesis Servicing brand.
